Flying Daggers

Although I don't like the song too much (Method Man kills it though) the video is super awesome. Very Kung-fu-esc. It;s very reminiscent of Afro Samurai, which makes me think that RZA had a big influence in the direction. The music serves as good background music, because video certainly out shines!!!

60 Candles is Hard to Blow (No Homo)

To celebrate it's 60th anniversary of their desert boots, super shoe company Clarks has created six different versions of the boot for every decade it's been around. I personally only like the tweed ones and the regular tan versions, but I'm sure someone out there will like the rest of em. They are uniquely designed and it comes in perfect time because I've wanted Desert Boots for awhile and with this release it's a perfect time!!!

Rappers Story

Well here is a blatant stolen article from nahright ...Funny how Fung Master Flex refers to New York as City of Gods on Rex's Track N.Y., guess the goonies really are ahead of the pack!!

“City of God’s Son” is an experimental hip-hop opera starring Nas, Jay Z, Ghostface, Biggie Smalls, Raekwon, Samuel Jackson, Delroy Lindo, and Laurence Fishburne. It is a crime drama/coming of age tale of three fictitious characters growing up in a crime ridden mythical city in a jungle. This project explores the icon of the gangster in modern media, and weaves musical history and gangster film history into an operatic music based story of brotherhood and survival. An homage to 90’s New York hip-hop, “City of God’s Son” is the redefinition of the remix. Featuring legendary soul singer Joe Bataan. A sound film/hip hop opera by Kenzo Digital.
