Banksy Get's A Cover

A few weeks back the cover for TimeOut London was released, with Banksy's contribution. Nothing too crazy but it's always cool to see a stencils artist create art in 3-d!!!!

XXL Fucks Up Again

It's been a year since XXL Mag fucked up the first Rookie cover and didn't put Drake on the cover (First real blog post). Well the Rookie Cover is here again and yet again they left out some very promising Rookies. Well lets start with my favorite rookie, that being Vado, who has the aura of Juelz from early 2000's, but with harder punchlines and tad bit more wit. But the biggest mishap was not naming Jay Electronica on the list, who may have the most hype of any rookie with his song Exhibit C. It's also good to note that all the buzz is do to his lyrical content, gaining recognition from Mos Def and Just Blaze. But hey you can't get em all right, and I don't think Drake did too bad after missing the cover....-_-

Banksy Makes the Cover!!!!

Banksy recently came out with a movie 'Exit Through The Gift Shop', which is probably going to be a Guerilla style documentary on the graffiti world. To advertise his movie and continue his legacy he has created the cover for TimeOut London. He supposedly did an interview but idk how some one could verify it was him, especially since the interview was via email

He Shows on the cover and on his past fashion features that not only is he the best player on the court, but he's probably also the best dressed off it!!!! They were shot by Terry but i wasn't too impressed, but i guess the tub pictures kind of funny, PAUSE!!!

Damn, They Walked in Here Looking Like...

Well if you know Drake's music you'd know title would end in Men of the Year. Drake released that song in 2007 and 2 years later he's in the GQ edition of Man of the year alongside Cudi and Wale as "Gangsta Killers"? Clearly they don't listen to their music cause none of their music is gangster (I'm a dumbass who doesn't read, that why i didn't realize they meant they killed gangster rap, I'd edit it but i like poiting out when i'm a dumbass!!)!!! But forget that, what's more disturbing is that none of them look GQ. Drake looks like he has rug on his lapel, matter of fact that looks like shit you wear after morning sex. Wale look cool but GQ is not the place for Supreme Dunks and all that street wear. Cudi is a little more formal but still it's a street wear bonanza. Some one get these niggas a well tailored suit, Oh but congrats on the success and feature, but i'm sure your pay check says it better than I!!!

2pac Lost Footage!!!

Vibe has been putting out the lost footage of the 2pac interview, but i waited till all the part were released to post it. It might be because i love his music and poetry, but these interviews are pretty great. You can hear passion in everything he talks about. But if you not gonna watch them all watch part 6 for sure, it's AMAZING!!!!

The Backside Is So Complex!!!!

Well i showed the Clipse cover for Complex and now the Jeezy side has also been revealed. Nothing great artistically, but the picture shows Jeezy not to be played with presence. There something about the look in his eyes and his hood ass demeanor that speaks artistic!!!! And the crispness of the picture, i can feel the warmth of the woo vest here.

Ask Marc Ecko If Their Flow Ain't Complex!!!

Complex Magazine has found the key to selling magazines, ALL book will be judged by their cover!!!! They have been putting out some o the best cover arts lately, including the N.E.R.D. and Lupe covers and the Kid Cudi and Keri Hilson ones. Complex brought back Kaws to do Clipse cover (Kaws is also doing Clipse Album cover). It pretty hot if you ask me, features traditional Kaws art plus the Clipse incased in a action figure like plastic!!! Defiantly worth buying!!!

Title curtsey of Curren$y the Hot Spitta!!!

Well Here is the preview for the upcoming GQ issue. Gracing the cover of next months issue will be Zac Efron, from High School Musical fame. I don't know what the fuss is about that movie and stuff but i def envy Zac for snatching Vanessa right out of my hand. But i digress the cover and interior pictures look great, but they resemble Shia Labeouf's issue for my taste. But hey there both caucasian, have disney fame, snag hot chicks and do movies, they might as well be the same person!!!
