The N.O. is Back Again!!!

Although Lil' Wayne and Curren$y have been holding New Orleans down (i guess Lil' B too -_-) the O.G. are making a come back. THe former No Limit Star Mystikal is going to link up with Cash Money Millionaire Great, Mannie Fresh (who produced almost all Cash Money songs till like the Carter II) to so some banging tracks. I don't know much of Mystikal music but the few big songs he had were great and Mannie Fresh beats never seemed to fail, despite the fact that last hit was i can remember is "And Than What" from Young Jeezy's Thug Motivation O_O.... But this is a good sign for both shits about to get EPIC!!!

Although the video is mediocre at best, you HAVE to watch Diddy's do Diddy styled things. It makes about as much sense as Cassie Cut, which was probably his idea!!! P.S. Seems like Bape hooked up with one of XXL's missing links for the freshman of 2010 (Vado being my other choice). Bape hooked up with Jay and Cipha to come out with a mixtape in hopes to reinvent Bape Sounds. Seems like this is a really good first step!!!

XXL Fucks Up Again

It's been a year since XXL Mag fucked up the first Rookie cover and didn't put Drake on the cover (First real blog post). Well the Rookie Cover is here again and yet again they left out some very promising Rookies. Well lets start with my favorite rookie, that being Vado, who has the aura of Juelz from early 2000's, but with harder punchlines and tad bit more wit. But the biggest mishap was not naming Jay Electronica on the list, who may have the most hype of any rookie with his song Exhibit C. It's also good to note that all the buzz is do to his lyrical content, gaining recognition from Mos Def and Just Blaze. But hey you can't get em all right, and I don't think Drake did too bad after missing the cover....-_-

Today was a glorious day for music video. Today alone DJ Khaled AKAK Mr. We The Best, dropped 2 videos, one for Put Your Hands Up and the other for All We Do Is Win (Watch Out for Cam's super random cameo). Young Money Also released a video for Roger That, which as surprisingly pretty good, as they went with that comic vibe, very similar to Sin City!!!
